Approach

We start with what’s true

Every engagement begins with research and ends with a story that customers and investors can check for themselves. In between, we build the proof.

Why now

Buyers decide before they ever talk to sales.

Research has moved into AI answers and quiet comparison, and investors skim a deck in minutes. A generated story sounds like every other generated story, so the companies that win show something only they could have made.

51%of B2B software buyers now start research in an AI chatbot more often than in Google
69%of buyers see inconsistencies between what a vendor’s website says and what its sellers say

The method

Four steps, in this order, every time.

  1. Research the market

Market sizing and ecosystem scoring, a competitive read from the customer’s side, channel analysis, and original survey research when the numbers don’t exist yet. Our Marketing Whitespace assessment benchmarks your brand, message and presence against the buyers you want and the competitors they compare you with.

  2. Profile the buyer and the founder

ICP and buying-committee profiling, then founder profiling: the full origin, failed attempts included, every proof point, the numbers with their assumptions, an honest read of the competition, and the ask traced backward from what the money has to accomplish.

  3. Build the story and its proof

Positioning and messaging architecture, then the assets that carry it: brand identity, website, research reports, interactive tools like calculators, maps and directories, the pitch deck, the investor portal and content.

  4. Engage customers and investors together

Demand generation, revenue operations, launches and events, run alongside the capital raise when there is one, so every conversation with a buyer or an investor builds on the same story.

What we make

Things a model can’t make for you.

Each of these is built on your expertise, your data or your story, which is exactly why it persuades.

Logicbroker, 600 commerce leaders. Moonnox, 500 SI executives.

  • Interactive tools

Calculators, maps, atlases and directories built on real expertise, so buyers and investors can test your claims for themselves.

  • Websites

Fast sites built to carry the story, capture the demand it creates and be read clearly by search and answer engines.

    logicbroker.com, aiassistinc.com, argus360.ai, aifandi.com, helisep.com, foundersalley.org.

  • Investor stories

The narrative, the pitch deck, investor briefings and portals, written by someone who has worked on fundraising from the company side.

Go-To-Fundraise

Sell and raise with one story.

Most founders run go-to-market and the raise as separate projects, with separate decks for audiences that never meet. Go-To-Fundraise, our method for seed and Series A companies, runs them as one campaign.

A side-by-side raise pairs a Reg D 506(c) offering for verified accredited investors with a Reg CF offering open to non-accredited investors, so the same story can reach four kinds of people. It works a lot like a political campaign that asks for votes and donations at the same time.

We run the investor program for a raise alongside the founders, securities counsel and a regulated funding platform. Nothing on this page is an offer to sell securities.

The Four-Quadrant Persona Framework. Choose a quadrant.

Accredited Investors

Verified accredited investors, reached through the Reg D 506(c) side of the raise, where general solicitation is allowed and every purchaser’s status is verified.

Engagements

Senior leadership, measured in hours a month.

Retainers are the most common way to work with us. Pick a level of involvement and a term, and add project work as it comes up.

80 hoursa month, about half of a full-time CMO
53 hoursa month, about a third
40 hoursa month, about a quarter
20 hoursa month, about an eighth

Terms run 12, 6, 3 or 1 month. Ad hoc projects start at 20 hours, and two-week accelerator workshops take on a single problem fast.
